What is your return policy?
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure (e.g., the battery is dead on arrival or cannot hold a charge due to a manufacturing defect). For minor failures, we reserve the right to test and/or recharge the battery before offering a repair or replacement.
- Warranty Duration: Varies by battery type (e.g., 12, 24, or 36 months) as specified at the time of purchase.
- Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or tax invoice is required for all claims.
- Assessment: Batteries must be returned to our store for testing. We may need up to 24 hours to perform a deep-cycle test to confirm if a defect exists.
Warranty and return rights do not apply if the battery failure is caused by:
- Misuse or Neglect: Leaving lights on, over-discharging (below 10.5V), or improper storage.
- Incorrect Application: Using a starting battery for deep-cycle purposes or installing the wrong size for the vehicle.
- External Damage: Broken terminals, cracked casings, or evidence of overcharging/bulging.
We are not legally required to provide a refund if you simply change your mind. However, we may offer an exchange or store credit within 14 days of purchase, provided the battery:
- Is in its original, unopened packaging with seals intact.
- Has not been fitted or used in a vehicle.
- Note: A 10–20% restocking fee may apply to cover testing and administration costs.

Please note that pickup availability may vary depending on your location, so we may not be able to service all areas. Alternatively, you can drop off your used battery at either of our two locations for safe and proper recycling.
